Chris Waterman
Chris has been at the heart of national policy making in children’s services and education for the past two decades, working for London Councils and later as Executive Director of the Association of Directors of Children’s Services (ADCS). He has been chair and key member of a range of national policy groups in education and children’s services. He is currently an advisor on education family issues in the House of Lords.
A prolific broadcaster, speaker, author and commentator, he regularly provides media comments for the Home Office and the Department of Children, Schools and Families. He also chairs and speaks at many conferences and seminars, focusing on children’s services and education.
Chris publishes a weekly e-bulletin, Children’s Services Weekly. He is also Children’s Services Editor of Education Journal and writes a regular column for The MJ (Municipal Journal).
