Summary

Observation is the practice of looking at and listening to children to find out how they are developing. What they like doing and what they are learning through their play and through the experiences on offer.Observations identify children’s strengths and interests,and this information can be used to help plan play and other activities.Working closely with parents is essential in early years practice.Parents have a right to know how their children are progressing and what they have spent time doing.
